Arsenal have officially increased their pursuit of Eberechi Eze, with the Crystal Palace star eager to transfer to the Emirates. Talks between the two clubs have intensified following Kai Havertz’s knee injury, which has left Arsenal in urgent need of attacking reinforcements.
Although Tottenham had been in advanced negotiations with Palace, Eze’s preference for Arsenal, the club he supported as a boy and where he once played in the academy, has shifted the momentum firmly toward Mikel Arteta’s side.
Palace delayed finalizing a deal to keep Eze available for their upcoming Conference League play-off, but Arsenal are ready to meet conditions to secure the 27-year-old’s signature.
Eze, who finished last season with nine goals in his final 13 games—including the FA Cup-winning strike against Manchester City—is widely considered one of the Premier League’s most dynamic playmakers. His versatility, creativity, and ability to break down defenses make him an ideal fit for Arsenal’s evolving attack.
With Viktor Gyökeres and Noni Madueke already joining this summer, Eze’s addition could change Arsenal’s attacking balance and give them the edge needed in the title race.
